IF Schedule

Why a formalized schedule?
Purpose #1: Continue working on de-privatization through IF classroom visits AND grade level debrief meetings to articulate our latest thinking about reading and reading instruction.
Content Teachers: it would be great if it is reading, but we can also focus on student engagement (task, talk, and teacher strategies).

Purpose #2: Communicate when I will be coming in for prior planning. (No unannounced visits.) To quote Jenn, "How would you envision us working together on that day?"
I can notice/wonder, co-teach, teach all/part? (see Coaching Overview for more ideas)

Purpose #3: To facilitate classroom visits between teachers/grade levels. When I am in a different classroom, if this is your free time, come join. (We can schedule a time/communicate a way for the three of us to debrief to make sure it is mutually beneficial.) Visiting other grade levels will add to the conversation during our grade level debrief meetings. Visitations build an understanding of what is happening across grade levels. As this process gets more formalized, we will know what to expect during the lesson. At this point, we will expect reading instruction. Content Teachers: it might be reading, but we can also focus on student engagement (task, talk, and teacher strategies).
