Holocaust Survivor today...

What an experience.  I missed the first part of the presentation, so I don't even know her name or most of her story.  However, the part I caught was powerful.  Just to be in the presence of someone who has know that much suffering....

Notes:

She was prisoner #23,675.  She has it memorized to this day.

Her messages to kids:
1) Protect freedom
2) Think before you hate.
3) Remember the Holocaust
4) Volunteer (Volunteers restore community)
5) Go to school
6) Work every day to forgive. (She does this on a daily basis.)

"It's through one on one relationships that friendship are build.  One to one contact creates friendships, forgiveness, and peace."
